Language Quality Assurance (LQA) Reporter
According to the process regulations, our editors and QA specialists need to provide LQR (Language Quality Report) and LQA (Language Quality Assurance) reports when they finish translation reviews. Previously, they needed to copy the English source, original translations and the suggested translations respectively, which is of course very time-consuming.
With our self-developed LQA Reporter, copying and pasting is no longer necessary! All our reviewers need to do is to review the translation as usual, stop at a point they think needs to be listed in the quality report, click to determine the error categories, the severity level, and to add comments, then continue the review process. The Language Quality Report will be populated at the back-end and saved automatically. When the entire translation has been reviewed and the reviewer switches to the quality report window, all the translation comments are listed there. The reviewer simply takes a quick look at the report and fills in their name, the word count, and the overall comments, then the Reporter calculates the translation grade and automatically renders "Pass" or "Fail" output in Excel files.
With this tool, our editors are released from tedious copy and paste operations and can focus more attention on the review of the translation.
