Linguistic

  Follow all project instructions and specifications
  There should be no mistranslation. The meaning and significance of source-language texts should be correctly rendered.
  Terminology usage should adhere to the glossary provided (if applicable), and should be internally consistent.
  Terminology translation among menus, buttons, on-line help, and publications, as well as on the Website, is correct and consistent.
  There are no long sentences, fuzzy sentences, or incomplete sentences. All translations should read fluently, and in professional technical or marketing style.
  Software menu translations are consistent with the operating system on which the software runs.
  Translation is complete without any omissions.
  Target language conventions are correct and consistent (e.g. punctuation, expression of dates,numbers, titles, etc.)

Formatting

  Titles, subtitles, headers and footers, table of contents, figures, tables etc. have been double-checked and cross-references are uniform.
  Style and format are consistent and adhere to style requirements from clients, or to "E-C Localization Style and Format Standard" if the client has not provided their own style specifications.
  There are no misspelling or typographical errors (including names, numbers, values and dates).
  Text attributes (bold, italics, underlining, etc.) are correct and consistent.
  Callouts are placed correctly within graphics, and graphics are placed correctly and coincide with the text.
  The index matches items and page numbers. Index order is properly adjusted.
  Cross-references within the text are correct with respect to names and page numbers of sections.
  Publication layout (header/footer style, pagination style, insertion of blank pages, etc.) is in the professional style of Chinese publication standards.

Functionality testing

  The Website, software and Web/e-commerce applications are compatible with different versions of Internet Explorer or the operating system per the client's requirements.
  Every screen, button, dialog box and menu option for functionality is normal, and there are no linguistic issues, including text expansion, sizing, and text placement.
  Character sets display correctly, links and bookmarks work well.
  Tests of accessibility, load and stress, benchmarking, functionality, and performance are passed.
