Linguistic QA
We believe Quality Assurance is not a simple task, but a continuous journey. BEC performs comprehensive Quality Assurance procedures at every step in the localization process.
Success means the right people do the right thing at the right time. We adhere to the following strategy to assure the linguistic quality and the successful operation of our projects:
Assign appropriate tasks to appropriate personnel. These professionals are also subject matter experts, when appropriate.
Monitor compliance with the regulated workflow. In our workflow, the standard linguistic process includes three full steps (translation, editing, and proofreading), with each step performed by different linguists. Specific checklists cover all in-house and subcontracting activities.
Sample the final deliverables. Our in-country QA specialists sample the final deliverables to check if they meet our quality standards.
Use toolkits (LQA Reporter, style guide, glossary, TM, etc). We also design customized QA toolkits to ease our working processes and further assure linguistic quality.
